Prerequisites
To be able to sit PMI's PMP® exam, you need to prove to PMI that you fulfill the following prerequisites:
- At least NZ NCEA Level 3 / 7th Form Certificate / University Entrance (or the global equivalent), and
- 60 months leading projects**, and
- 35 hours of formal project management education*/training or CAPM® Certification by the time the exam application is submitted (these 35 hours are provided by completing our training course)
OR
- A Bachelor’s or four-year degree, and
- 36 months leading projects**, and
- 35 hours of formal project management education/training* or CAPM® Certification by the time the exam application is submitted (these 35 hours are provided by completing our training course)

PMP® Exam Cost
The PMP® certification cost is $405 USD for PMI members and $555 USD for non-members.
This is excluded from our course fee, but Millpond is able to offer PMI Membership and Exam Vouchers in a NZ$ or AU$ ‘bundle’ at the time of registration. There is no cost benefit to this, but it can the process of joining PMI and paying for the exam easier for candidates and/or their organisation. Note that this bundle does not include membership of your local PMI chapter which must be purchased directly from PMI.

This course (excluding exam fees) is registered with the Management Capability Development Funding programme.
Businesses may qualify for vouchers to help pay for services such as training workshops, courses and coaching that build the management capabilities of their owners, operators and key managers. The Management Capability Development Funding helps business owners to access business training services, by providing them with up to a 50% subsidy towards the registered service cost.
