Millpond Public Training Course Registration Terms and Conditions

Registrations

      • Course bookings can be made with Millpond Ltd over the phone, via email or via the Millpond Ltd website. Our terms and conditions apply to all methods of booking.
      • Bookings are made on a “first-come, first-served” basis. If the course is already fully booked, potential delegates will be placed on a waiting list.
      • Delegates are only registered for a course after they have received an email with the Subject line “Registration Confirmed: Name of course to be attended” from [email protected].
      • For early bird (8%) discount on courses to apply the registration must be received at least 60 days prior to the start of the course.
      • The discounts offered are not cumulative. i.e., Millpond Ltd will apply only the highest level of discount to which the course registration or delegate is eligible to the Order total.

Payment by credit card

      • A GST invoice will be emailed to the course delegate showing a nil balance owing once the registration is approved.

Payment by invoice

      • Invoices will be sent to the order contact as soon as the registration is received.
      • Spaces on all courses are limited, so full payment is required within 7 days of the course start date (the invoice due date) unless the course delegate or their representative have previously arranged special payment conditions with Millpond Ltd (such as 20th month following, pre-paid training or the like). In which case payment is due on the date specified on the invoice issued to the delegate or their employer.
      • Course delegates are liable for any fees due for the course in the event of non-payment by their employer.
      • Failure to settle any amounts owing may result in debt recovery proceedings. Any associated costs incurred will be added to the amount owing plus 2% interest per month from the date of invoice.

Discount Codes

      • Discount codes are not exchangeable for cash
      • EOFY discount codes must be redeemed before 30 June 2024 and are only valid on registrations for all Australia based classroom or virtual PMP/CAPM training courses starting in 2024.

Course Rescheduling or Cancellation of Public Courses by Millpond Ltd

      • Millpond Ltd.’s courses require a minimum number of registrations and may be dependent on specific individuals’ availability for content delivery. Millpond Ltd reserves the right to change presenters, the course program, cancel a course, or to change the date, time, or venue of any course or session.
      • If the total number of delegates enrolled for a course is less than required, the course will be rescheduled to new dates approximately 4 weeks before the course commencement date.
      • If the date of a course is altered, we will contact the course delegate or their representative to offer either a full refund, credit, or a transfer of their registration to the revised date or to an alternative course delivery method.
      • If there is a difference in cost between the alternative course delivery or dates and the one for which the course delegate originally registered, Millpond Ltd will refund any difference in cost where the course delegate paid by credit card or invoice the course delegate for the difference once the new course is confirmed.
      • If a course is cancelled by Millpond Ltd all fees paid will be refunded in full or a credit issued.
      • Millpond Ltd is not responsible for travel or related costs incurred by attendees.
      • Millpond Ltd may suspend or cancel a registration if false information has been supplied. Under such circumstances the amount to be refunded (if any) is at the sole discretion of Millpond Ltd.

COVID-related cancellation terms for public classroom courses

      • If there is an increased risk of COVID in the community or imposed lockdowns are in place at the course start date, the course may either be deferred to a future date or move to a virtual setting after agreement by all parties is reached.
      • If a classroom-based course has started and COVID restrictions are imposed which restrict any remaining course dates taking place in person, the course will move to a virtual setting.

Changes to registrations initiated by delegates

Cancellation of a registration

      • Withdrawal fees will be charged as per the table below.

Transferring a registration to alternative person

      • Attendee substitution must be arranged at least 3 days prior to course commencement otherwise a $250 admin fee will be incurred. Please contact [email protected] before course commencement to advise of any substitutions.

Transferring a registration to alternative dates or to an alternative course delivery method

      • Requests to transfer a delegate’s registration to alternative dates, or to an alternative course, must be sent to [email protected] in writing.

      • The transfer will be treated as a withdrawal from the first course and a separate registration in the new course.

      • Withdrawal fees will be charged as per the table below.

      • There is a maximum of one change per booking.

      • The proposed alternative dates or course must be within a 12-month period from the original registration.

Withdrawal Fees applicable

30 days before course commencement – Full refund less $250 admin fee

<30 days before and >15 days before course commencement –  50% refund of course fee

<15 days before course commencement or after commencement – No refund

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that occasionally health and family situations arise that are outside the control of delegates. If such exceptional circumstances apply after the last dates for refund eligibility have passed and you believe you may be eligible for compassionate consideration, please contact [email protected] with details.

Privacy

        • By attending a Millpond Ltd course, either by entering the course premises or attending the online course, the course delegate consents to any interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for promotional purposes, news, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Millpond Ltd. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar Millpond courses in the future, highlight the course and promote the work of Millpond Ltd.
        • Attendees must email [email protected] at least 3 days before course commencement to let us know if they wish to be excluded from photography, audio, and video recording.
        • By entering the course premises or attending the online course, the course delegate waives all rights the course delegate may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use of these materials.
        • Millpond Ltd may email all delegates on a course using the CC: function meaning that the course delegate’s email address will be visible to other course participants. If the course delegate does not wish to be included in these emails or the course delegate wishes Millpond to use the BCC: function for the course delegate’s address, the course delegate must contact [email protected] at least 10 days before course commencement.
        • Course delegates are welcome to contact us at [email protected] any time to access and update the course delegates personal information or to ‘opt-out’ of receiving further communications from us.

Access to electronic materials

        • The distribution of soft copy course material or PowerPoint presentations is at the discretion of Millpond Ltd and the course facilitator.
        • The course delegate will be provided with username and password access to a variety of electronic materials for their personal educational and information purposes for no more than one calendar year from the course commencement date.
        • The course delegate must not share this username and password with anyone else.
        • The course delegate may not: (a) modify, reproduce, download, store, transmit, disseminate, transfer, disassemble, broadcast, publish, remove, or alter any materials to which access is provided.
        • If a breach of either of the two items above occurs, Millpond Ltd can revoke access to these electronic materials.
