Times They Are A Changin’

As the great Bob Dylan once said “The times they are a changin”. On many levels the last couple of months have been characterised by change. Obviously COVID-19 and the effects of lockdown on our families, our health and well-being, our social lives and businesses has brought about unparalleled change. We believe that a project management mindset and associated skills are critical in bringing structure and focus to this chaotic environment.

Your Project. Our Passion

We’ve had our share of change here at Millpond. The team have spent a lot of time refining our business during lockdown. The most obvious change is the merging of Falcon Training into Millpond to bring you the best of Delivery, Consulting and Training all under one roof. We’ve changed our website, our logo and also introduced a new tagline, which better reflects what we do – “Your Project. Our Passion”. We haven’t changed our desire to enhance your project management capability and to positively influence the likelihood of your projects succeeding.

We’ve also introduced our Online Professional Development series (originally launched as our ‘Lockdown Series’), which provides customers with the ability to attend remote, live training. We’ve been doing this for some time through a number of our training offerings, the most prominent being our VOLT (Virtual Online Live Training).

I’ve seen many articles asserting that digital transformations have been (at least in part) fast tracked by COVID-19 and the need to work remotely. Although this is obviously true, the key to any transformation is whether it ‘sticks’. It’ll be fascinating to observe which businesses go back to old ways and which ones embrace the change and not only stay viable in tough times, but thrive.

The times they are a changin’ indeed!
