Mark has extensive experience in IT Consulting, Sales and Sales Management, and General Management. His most recent role prior to joining Millpond was over 5 years as General Manager leading a team of what became close to 50 people delivering IT Testing and BA services to South Island customers.
Mark has Strategy, Leadership and Governance experience, and has been on the Millpond board since 2021.
He has engaged with a large number of businesses throughout New Zealand, and particularly has built a deep network across the South Island. He has managed teams of Sales people as they have engaged with customers, and been overall responsible for the business and quality of delivery to those customers.
Mark is passionate about putting People and Customer at the heart of everything we do, and has a strong ethical and moral compass – meaning people culture is important, as is doing what we say we will.
Married to Shelley and with 2 young adult children, Mark enjoys all that the South Island’s great outdoors has to offer – he is an avid fisherman, boatie, waterskier, tramper, and occasional snow skier. A passionate rugby fan, Mark can’t seem to get past his roots and still supports Otago and the Highlanders despite that being a tough task most of the time.
