Get to know John
John is an IT professional with over 30 years’ experience. Past roles include enterprise-level and Government CIO positions, Programme and Project Delivery leadership and leading consultancy teams for KPMG. He has worked in both commercial and government positions across a variety of sectors including banking, tertiary education, manufacturing, and primary industries and has an excellent record of delivering complex initiatives on time and to an agreed budget.
John enjoys working with people and has had to engage at multiple levels with a vast array of stakeholders throughout his career. He believes in establishing well-thought-out plans and working to these, but also understands that nothing ever goes exactly to the plan and is flexible enough to make controlled changes where required.
John is a confident project manager,with experience managing and overseeing the hands on technical aspects of projects as well as managing a team of people delivering projects.
Of interest
Outside of work, John’s interests include mountain biking, hockey, sailing, diving, water skiing, snow skiing, cooking, travelling and socialising with friends and family.
