James is a Project Management Professional who was the Founder of Millpond. His experience enables him to see the big picture and offers the clarity and calm for your project environment.
He has a proven track record in project delivery spanning large software and business process change initiatives. A much wider understanding of how Project Management can bring about business results has been demonstrated throughout his career to date. His experience includes roles in Operational Management, running consulting teams, mentoring, setting up and running Project offices/Project Management methodologies to suit, project rescue and project/programme delivery to name a few.
James has held leadership roles within the project management community for a number of years. He is currently the Immediate Past President of the Project Management Institute of New Zealand (PMINZ). He also ran PMI’s mentoring programme for 3 years, has Convened the national conference (twice!) and served as Chair of the South Island Branch.
As a well regarded member of the Project Management community he is just as happy working on the big picture as he is rolling up his sleeves and getting into the nitty gritty of a complex business change project or systems implementation.
James’ experience enables him to see the big picture and offers the clarity and calm for your project environment.
In his spare time can be found enjoying some banter with his two children, damaging his knees on the ski slopes, or attempting to play golf. He is also a self professed, ‘cricket tragic’ and still plays to a reasonable standard.
