Trainer – Project Management

We engage across a variety of sectors and high-profile clients within Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. Millpond trainers are known for their experience in project delivery and utilise real-world examples to bring the theory alive and create engaging education.
You’ll need to have strong presentation and speaking skills, relate well with a wide range of stakeholders, and have a good sense of humour. Quality and engagement are your backbone.
Training experience is strongly preferred, but candidates who are strong in all other areas of experience will be considered.
Millpond is a registered Authorized Training Partner (A.T.P) with the Project Management Institute delivering globally-recognised certification, project management, and custom training.
Responsibilities
Deliver classroom and virtual project management training throughout Australia or New Zealand. Travel may be required and scheduled in advance.
Training varies from part-time virtual to multi-day classroom based. Some evenings for virtual training are required.
Commitment varies throughout the year and is tailored to individual trainer availability. On average demand is 8 – 40 hours per month or annually 120 hours per annum.
Key responsibilities include;
- Deliver slideware training and activities provided by Millpond
- Develop custom courseware (optional)
- Provide certification and delegate support
- Participate in trainer development
- Retain relevant certifications for courses
Skills / Experience
At least 5 years of project management experience with at least 12 months working in Agile or Hybrid projects.
A high degree of interpersonal skills and experience working with a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong presentation and speaking skills.
Customer-centric and service-focused while managing lesson pace.
At least one of the following certifications:
- PMP certification
- PMI-ACP certification
- PMI DA certification
